The Partnership is a non-profit organization that oversees improvements along the Buffalo Bayou including the addition of major amenities to encourage community involvement such as -- pedestrian, boating and biking amenities, art installations, attractions and events. This month was hoppin' for Zulu Creative! We soaked up the music scene at SXSW, spelled out (boo) at the TUTS Spelling Bee, launched a new bridal gift boutique website, and will be onboard for the kick off party for a new and exciting theatre company. Join us for the Launch of The Catastrophic Theatre
This Friday March 28th at 8PM, Tina Zulu helps host the launch of The Catastrophic Theatre, Houston's newest, most exciting theater company, will be celebrating its coming out in the surreal warehouse space of Houston restaurant owner and personality Dawn Fudge.
Packed with the entire contents of a Chinese restaurant, wedding gowns, golf carts, Mexican folk art, pick-up trucks, mattresses, and a watermelon stand, Dawn's warehouse boasts everything you'd need to survive any earth-shattering event. Protective gear will be encouraged. Survival kits will be handed out at the door. And good food, great wine, and amazing performances will be sure to take the edge off. It's going to be a wonderful catastrophe.

TUTS Battle of the Bees Update
What was all the buzz about? A few weeks ago, Theatre Under the Stars hosted a spelling bee and 40 brave contestants each representing a non-profit organization, battled it out in hopes of winning a cash prize to be donated to their cause.
After making it to the final round our buzzing Tina bee (representing Spacetaker) spelled out on a word we'd never heard before. The event was a lot of fun and special congratulations go out to the winner Miss Vernitra Jones of The Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals. Vernitra will also have a special guest appearance in the hilarious, must-see Broadway musical, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee which will be at the Hobby Center through April 6th.
