Spotlight On: Asia Society Texas Center
We're excited to welcome Asia Society Texas Center as a new client and look forward to helping them with marketing and PR via traditional, web and social media channels. We'll be creating a buzz around their upcoming opening reception for two art exhibits: Portraiture Now: Asian American Portraits of Encounter and kip fulbeck: part Asian, 100% hapa.

UH Profiles Tina and Josh
Described as "culture-preneurs," Zulu founders Tina and Josh are currently featured in an alumni profile article for the University of Houston's C. T. Bauer College of Business, with a print version coming soon in UH's Alumni Quarterly publication. In the article, Tina and Josh, graduates of the country's top-ranked entrepreneurship program at UH, credit the school and program for arming them with the foundation for a business and the network to support it. And the rest, as they say, is history! Beyond simply providing services to clients, Tina and Josh developed Zulu Creative to introduce people and ideas to form real synergy. Great job, Zulu chiefs!

Houston Launch of Power2Give.org
Our chiefs are happy to serve as host committee members for the Houston launch of power2give.org, a new funding platform for arts organizations that empowers individuals to give directly to local arts, science and history projects they are passionate about. Nonprofit organizations post projects that are in need of funding and donors help bring them to life with a gift. The Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) administers the program locally by operating and maintaining the website and collecting donations directly from donors. It's a great and easy way to support your favorite arts groups! Join the free launch celebration on Thursday, November 8th from 7-9PM at House of Deréon, 1505 Hadley at Crawford, Houston 77002. AIA Home Tour 2012
We can't wait to get a firsthand look inside some of Houston's most fabulous homes! Join us this weekend for the annual AIA Home Tour, with an impressive assortment of privately-owned residences designed by outstanding Houston architects. Step inside and be captivated by each home! What: AIA Home Tour 2012
When: Saturday-Sunday, October 27-28, 12-6PM each day
Where: 8 Houston-area homes Preview featured homes and see a map. Cost: Full-tour tickets good for both days are $25 per person. Single-house tickets are $10 per person. The cyclist-friendly tour offers full-tour tickets for $20 per bike rider. Tickets may be purchased online or at any tour home during the event.
Zulu Perk: Win a pair of tickets when you're the first to tell us the square footage of the largest home on this year's tour. Email your answer by Thursday 10/25, 5PM to [email protected].
