We were honored to be a part of the “Love & Light” Prayer Vigil at City Hall for Typhoon Haiyan (a.k.a. Yolanda) victims in the Philippines. Supporters gathered to pray and hear encouraging words from Mayor Annise Parker, Congressman Al Green and His Eminence Daniel Cardinal DiNardo. It was a heartwarming and healing gathering.

 Immediately following the prayer vigil, The BAHAla na Tribe and Dean’s at 316 Main Street hosted a special edition “Love & Light” Adobo Hoedown warm-up benefit which raised over $3,000 for Yolanda victims. Event proceeds will be donated to The Federation of Philippine-American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (FPACC) and One World Institute.
