It’s baaaaack and for one night only! Music and art converge under one roof next Friday, July 5th, at the Contemporary Art Museum Houston. With hosts, ZC chief Josh Zulu and Derek Jones come celebrate local talent with the likes of Deejays Josh Dupont, Supa Neil, A Fistful of Soul’s Stewart A. Anderson.
Featured artistic duo NoiseFold will present i I i (2008), an ultra-wide black-and-white panoramic projection that displays visual representations of digital data in a synchronized interplay of shapes, patterns, and textures. Along with the duo’s work, artist David Stout will premiere a new interactive artwork in Houston, created for the upcoming new media festival Currents 2013 in Santa Fe.
Guests are invited to explore the other exhibitions on view while enjoying great music, karaoke, a cash bar with Deep Eddy Vodka and Karbach Brewing Company, grub from Flip ‘N Patties food truck and heat-bustin’ goodies from Snow Dog Ice Cream Truck.
